Beer stein at Noma Oktoberfest near The Belgard

Kick Off Oktoberfest at NoMa’s Wunder Garten Beer Hall

We can hardly believe that fall is almost here. At The Belgard, that only means one thing: the return of Oktoberfest in the District! D.C. is full of Oktoberfest festivals and celebrations, and with our prominent location in the vibrant NoMa neighborhood, you won’t have to travel far to join the festivities — Wunder Garten, D.C.’s premier beer garden, is right around the corner so you can sip and savor authentic German fare in style.

Wunder Garten is a Bavarian beer garden with a colorful, communal atmosphere. Open year-round with its climate-controlled beer hall, this NoMa favorite serves up more than just its crafted list of traditional and unique beers, ciders, wines and liquors — with spacious seating, cozy bungalows, lawn games and delicious eats from CaliBurger DC on-site, Wunder Garten is a perfect complement to your life in high regard at The Belgard.

Join us at Wunder Garten September 28–30 for an Oktoberfest to remember! From the ceremonial tapping of the first Spaten Oktoberfest keg at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 28, to the final call on Sunday, September 30, this is a weekend-long celebration you won’t want to miss. Wunder Garten’s Oktoberfest beer selection includes offerings from traditional Bavarian breweries like Spaten, Weihenstephaner and Hofbräuhaus. Listen and dance to authentic German music as you drink and cheers your way through the draft list, enjoy delicious traditional German fare from Café Berlin (with bratwurst, bretzels und obatzter, gurkensalat, sauerkraut and more!), try your hand in Saturday’s Bavarian Olympics and stein-holding competition, and meet new friends at their long, beer hall-style tables.

It’s always a perfect time of year to visit Wunder Garten, but we think Oktoberfest makes it particularly special. Stroll over during the last weekend in September for a celebration full of cheer, beer and fun. Prost!
